Dear Viewer, This slide show was specially prepared for anyone who was at the 3rd annual open house or anyone with even the slightest interest in going to the 2008 open house. Those who have never been to an open house may be wondering what it is like. Of course, the photos only convey part of the story. The real story is deep in the hearts of those who were there. Unforgettable memories of fun, people, and peaceful quiet. It's the kind of quiet that can allow the mind's ear to hear what God may have been trying to tell you for years. It's the kind of peaceful setting that inspires the soul to ask, "am I doing the right thing with my life?" One lady who had no connection to the open house was watching a large group of us float down the river on inner tubes and thought we were all part of some big family reunion gathering. That's what it is like; a family reunion. It doesn't matter if you have never been to an open house, you are family. Just come as you are. It doesn't matter where you are in your Christian experience, you will be accepted and fit in. During this, my first visit, every day brought new feelings, thoughts, questions, and even some answers. While the open house is about connecting a physical understanding to the Hohnberger message and stories, your time in that wilderness setting is about catching a deeper vision for your own life. Some people come specifically for that purpose. Others come out of curiousity, as a chance to get away, or to find fellowship. The important thing is that you respond to even the slightest inclination to come join us at the 2008 open house. Don't let the busyness of life or other obstacles get in the way. If somewhere in your heart you feel like there is reason to come, then do it. Warmest Regards, Michael Babnick [ Click Here to Start the Slide Show ] |
